Daniel Arsham makes installations and objects that conjure a kind of mythical contemporary archeology.

In a practice that spans film, painting, sculpture, and installation, the artist employs elements of architecture and performance that distort recognizable forms into corroded, calcified, or otherwise glitched-out artifacts. In the case of his exhibition Connecting Time at Moco Museum, Daniel Arsham manipulated gallery spaces to achieve these very effects.

Daniel Arsham got propelled into the world of jet-set when legendary American dance choreographer Merce Cunningham invited him to design the stage for the piece titled eyeSpace at the Miami Performing Arts Center in 2004. Cunningham had previously collaborated with Rauschenberg, Frank Stella and Andy Warhol. The art of Daniel Arsham has a monochrome palette that alludes to a disembodied future, which has resonated with art lovers internationally.

In addition to his fine art practice, Arsham has collaborated with a number of brands, including Adidas, Dior, and Porsche. Now, he continues to evolve with the changing tides in art by diving into the New FuTure with NFTs. Arsham has collaborated frequently with Barcelona-based creative studio Six N. Five to create immaculate NFTs.

    It is a well curated small collection of contemporary arts greatest hits along with a few up and coming artists exhibitions. I was fascinated by the pieces and I love how the museum flowed through each experience. The staff were amazing and helpful also. Absolutely a must see for contemporary art lovers!!
